Brian Hopkins: Pet Pharmaceuticals, facing adversity, stoicism and friends you can fight with.

Once humans let pets in the house, everything about the way we medicated them had to change. Suddenly the disease that were ok outside, were now coming into the house. Executive Director of half the US sales force for Elanco, Brian Hopkins, sat down with Vance Crowe to discuss what changes have happened, how people engage with their pets differently and the advances in pet medicine. Brian and Vance also discussed how they both had to independently embrace the concepts of stoicism in order to endure the pain and suffering that happened when their wives struggled to have a baby. They discuss stoicism, and how it applies to their lives. They also talked about how social media is a zero sum game and how this is impacting the way we engage with other people in the real world. They talked about the realities of children being marketed to and how communities are different than tribes.
