The Corporate Program

Interest-Based Communication, delivered in your building, for your whole team
The Corporate Program is a five session in-house training that brings Vance Crowe's Interest-Based Communication curriculum directly into a company's own building, for teams rather than individuals. It follows once a company's first Executive Course participants have gone through the training in St. Louis, and those alumni help lead sessions with their own team. Sessions are scoped on a single call with Vance Crowe at vance@articulate.ventures.

Who This Is For

Companies that have already sent leaders through the Executive Course and want the same skills spread through the rest of the organization, not just the leadership team. It is built for whole departments, not just executives: engineering teams whose recommendations get talked over, sales teams negotiating with customers, or any group where the quality of decisions depends on people actually saying what they think.

What the Five Sessions Cover

The Corporate Program teaches the same five competencies taught in the Executive Course, each as a named, practicable technique: interest-based negotiation, storytelling, conversation, conflict, and presenting. Every session is practiced on the team's own real situations and current disagreements, not role-play scripts or hypotheticals. Techniques taught include mirroring (repeating back what you heard as fairly and completely as you can), steelmanning (arguing the other side's position better than they can state it themselves), and asking how instead of why.

Why In-House

Sending a handful of people to a course and hoping the skills spread on their own rarely works. The Corporate Program solves that by training the group together, in the room where the actual friction happens, with alumni from the company's own Executive Course participants helping lead it. One alumnus described the underlying skillset this way:

"Learning interest-based communications from Vance might actually be the single highest leverage skillset that I ever developed before starting this company."IBC course alum, ad segment recorded from a real course session

Mid-America Farm Credit, an organization that has booked Vance for team training, said:

"Vance was incredibly responsive and collaborative, making it easy to integrate his session into our broader event strategy. Most importantly, he has a remarkable ability to connect with people."Mid-America Farm Credit

Credentials

Vance Crowe created Interest-Based Communication, drawing on years as Director of Millennial Engagement at Monsanto, a prior role as a Communications Strategist for the World Bank Group, and Peace Corps service in Kenya. He has addressed more than 300,000 people across four continents and hosts a podcast with 500+ recorded episodes, 471 with full transcripts, documenting exactly the kinds of hard conversations the Corporate Program is built to train.

How It's Scoped

Every Corporate Program is scoped on a single call: team size, number of sessions, and schedule are set to fit the company. There is no fixed price published here because scope varies by team; contact vance@articulate.ventures to schedule the call.
